Gor Mahia Disbands Entire Technical Bench In Major Shake-Up

BY BARAKA SIMBA
Gor Mahia Football Club has parted ways with its entire technical bench, including the team’s security personnel, in a sweeping overhaul announced on July 2, 2025.
In an official statement, Club Chairman Ambrose Rachier said the decision follows an internal review aimed at streamlining operations ahead of the 2025/26 season.
“The separation has been reached amicably and in good faith. We thank the outgoing staff for their professionalism, dedication, and service to the club,” said Rachier.
The club did not provide specific reasons behind the comprehensive restructuring but emphasized that the changes are part of a broader strategic plan to strengthen both technical and operational departments.
“Our focus remains on building a solid foundation that will sustain competitive excellence both on and off the pitch,” Rachier said.
Gor Mahia, Kenya’s most successful football club, is expected to unveil a new technical structure in the coming weeks as it looks to reclaim domestic dominance and make a stronger impact on the continental stage.
