A teacher in Bomet county has been detained for allegedly sodomizing three students between the ages of 11 and 13.
The suspect, a teacher at Mosoriot Academy, was ferried to Mogogosiek Police Station in Konoin and awaiting charges for the crime.
According to police chief Tom Achiya, Bernard Kirui was detained after one of the victims complained of excruciating pain and was taken to Litein Mission Hospital, where it was determined that he had been sodomized.
“Following complaints from school employees, he was arrested. We carried out investigations that resulted in the suspect’s capture “said Achiya.
Initial investigations reveal that the school’s principal stayed in the boys’ dorm.
