Kicking off Blind Awareness Month, the Signs TV Hashtag podcast features an engaging interview with James Sita, alias DJ Nic, whose story captures the month’s core message.

With a visual disability, DJ Nic has unlimited perspective, challenging everyone to rethink what's possible. He plainly states, "Nobody is limited, not unless you decide to limit yourself."

The DJ acknowledges the curiosity people have about his life, particularly how he maneuvers different environments. He explains that instead of relying on sight, he masters a new space by allowing his other senses to take over.

"We usually sense a new place," he explains, adding that his senses are so heightened he cannot be limited. This sensory intelligence is a powerful tool, even detecting danger.

As Nic shares, "We know when things go off around us."
