Paralympic Champion Madison de Rozario made history by becoming the first Australian Woman to win the New York marathon.
De Rozario, who won gold in the Tokyo Paralympic Marathon games finished 3minutes ahead of competitor McFadden and Schar.
The 27 year old broke through to win her first Paralympic marathon gold medal in Tokyo earlier this year and is now the only Australian woman, either in wheelchair or open events, to claim victory on the 42km course.
The Paralympic champion specializes in sprint, middle and long-distance events in the T-53 classification.
