Winners of the 18th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest unveiled

The 18th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest's winner has been unveiled, ending an exciting artistic competition that saw over 900 contestants submit applications for consideration.

Henry Loishorwa from Mukuru Arts Collective beat all the odds to clinch the final prize of KShs. 50,000. The winning school, Mukuru Arts Collective, walked away with KShs. 100,000 while Visa Oshwal Primary School with the highest number of entries was rewarded with KShs. 50,000.

Furthermore, the winning entries were entered into the global competition, where the grand prize winner will be awarded a cash token of USD 5000, the winning school will receive USD 10,000, and the best finalist will receive USD 3,000.

The competition which was open to all Kenyan children aged 15 years and below required participants to unleash their creativity and envision the future of mobility. The winning pieces were determined by a panel of judges who carefully reviewed each entry based on the uniqueness of each entry.

Speaking during the prize giving ceremony, CFAO Mobility Kenya Managing Director, Mr. Arvinder Reel, expressed his enthusiasm on the level of creativity exhibited by the participants during the contest period.

“The Toyota Dream Car Art Contest is a testament to our commitment to foster creativity among the young ones. We are excited to see the incredible ideas and vision that were displayed. We believe that the foundation we have set will go a long way in preparing the winners for better career prospects,” Mr. Arvinder noted.

This contest emphasized our steadfast support in providing equal opportunities for aspiring artists in diverse regions as well as our dedication to building future ambassadors for the Toyota brand, ensuring that the aspirations of our children continue to flourish and contribute to the vibrant cultural tapestry of our nation.

The contest underscored unwavering commitment to fostering equal opportunities for young artists from diverse backgrounds and to nurture future ambassadors for the Toyota brand.
