Thomas Teye Partey will leave Arsenal as free agent this week, when his contract at the club ends this June.

This follows the signing of Martin Zubimendi from real sociedad and the subsequent addition of Brentford's Christian Norgaard to the arsenal midfield roles.

The midfielder will find a new club on a free transfer as Arsenal won’t extend his deal, as revealed 10 days ago.

Christian Nørgaard from Brentford will join Arsenal to replace Thomas and Zubimendi replaces Jorginho.

It is believed the key cause of the release of the Ghanaian is due to his wage demands of 300 thousand pounds per week for him to renew his contract, an issue that arsenal board has seen as a burden after the addition of some midfield options.

Arteta also has considered his age of 32 years and the injuries that Partey has had that key him out of the squad for some time leaving a gap in Arsenal midfield.

Upto now it is yet to be known where the star will play next season but it's anticipated that the player returns to Atletico Madrid, Barcelona or Saudi Arabian league.
