Nottingham Forest have parted ways with Ange Postecoglou after just 39 days in charge. The Australian coach was dismissed following a poor run that saw the team fail to register a single win in eight matches. His short tenure came to an end after a defeat that left the club in the relegation zone.
Forest have moved quickly to search for a new manager to turn their season around. Sean Dyche, the former Everton and Burnley boss, has emerged as the leading candidate to succeed Postecoglou. Sources indicate he is in advanced discussions with the club.
