President Ruto Meets Harambee Stars, Promises More Money if Kenya Defeats Zambia

President William Ruto has promised each Harambee Stars player KSh 2.5 million if they win their crucial match against Zambia this Sunday. He also pledged KSh 1 million and a fully built two-room house under the Affordable Housing Programme, to be constructed at a location of each player’s choice.
Speaking at State House this afternoon during a meeting with the squad, President Ruto urged Kenyans to rally behind the team, stressing that national unity and strong motivation were key to securing victory. He commended the players for their recent performances, noting that a win over Zambia would further cement Kenya’s position in African football.
The team has already pocketed KSh 1 million each for their 1–0 win over Morocco last weekend, bringing their total earnings to KSh 2.5 million so far. Victory on Sunday could see each player walk away with up to KSh 5.5 million in rewards.
