Potters misery continues as Fulham beat Chelsea
Chelsea head coach Graham Potter has pleaded with his Chelsea players to stay together after the shocking 2-1 defeat against Fulham at Craven cottage.
This comes as the blues have suffered back to back defeats, recording seven losses in their last ten games in all competitions after another poor performance.
"We are suffering at the moment. We're suffering, the fans are suffering. We feel for them," said Potter. "It's important to stick together and try to get through this tough period."
"It's really frustrating, incredibly challenging," said Potter of the situation. "I feel for the supporters.
"We're disappointed to lose tonight. I felt it was a relatively even game in the first half, we had a couple of chances. But I think the basics we can do a little bit better, in terms of our defending and football actions.’’ He added.
Former Chelsea winger Willian was on target for Fulham in the first half before kalidou Koulibally equalized after the break.
More trouble ensued for Graham Potters side, when new loan signing Joao Felix who impressed on his debut, was sent off after a reckless foul Kenny Tete.
Brazilian striker Carlos Vinicius was on target to seal the victory for Fulham, moving them sixth on the Premier League table with Chelsea now sitting tenth, ten points behind fourth placed Manchester United.
