Arteta on Chelsea: “Obviously, it's a big game, it's a big London derby. We're going to play a really, really good opponent. They are in really good form. We know the challenge, we know the opportunity that we have as well on Sunday, so we are fully ready for it.”
Are Chelsea title challengers?
Artate: "We are all there and they are there because they fully deserve it. The squad they have assembled, the numbers they have, the amount of quality, the manager and the coaching staff they have, it makes sense what has happened which is very positive. They deserve to be there."
Arteta : "Those statements we are talking about every three days. After beating Spurs, we had to make a statement against Bayern Munich, we did that. Now we have to go to the next one
This is the biggest game of the season so far?
Arteta: "We always get this same question .. I understand. For us it is, because it's the next game and we just live in the present and make the best possible preparation to win the game."
Arteta on Estevao: "don't want to talk individually. When you look at the squad and the quality they have in the forward positions is immense and they have recruited top talent. It's no coincidence where they are."
Arteta on Gabriel Jesus: "We have to see. He's been out 11 months. You need progression and see how his body reacts. It has to make sense to have the right balance in the squad. The good thing is he's very close."
Declan Rice could win the Ballon d'Or?
Arteta: “ I hope so. That would mean we have won a lot because it is normally related. He has been immense since the start of the season. He is an incredible and crucial player for us."
Arteta on who will start Hincapie and Mosquera?
Arteta: "They both have a really good possibility of starting on Sunday… Piero has played as a left-back as well, which is another option we have. Myles Lewis Skelly is obviously a very good option we have there
Arteta on win vs. Bayern: “Not that they (players) surprised me, but you have to be able to perform in the manner that they did individually throughout long periods of the game against that opponent, and that's very, very difficult to do. “They are with their full backs the way we do what we did in terms of rotation. They create a game that are very low sequences of passes. So I know what he's saying. So that's fine. It's part of the game. I think the game is provoked in the manner that both plays games. It's very understandable.”
