Manchester City Overcome Nottingham Forest 2–1 in Premier League Clash

Manchester City continued their push near the top of the Premier League table with a 2–1 victory over Nottingham Forest at the City Ground. The champions dominated possession for large parts of the match and showed composure in key moments to claim an important away win.
City broke the deadlock late in the first half when Rayan Cherki struck in the 48th minute, rewarding sustained pressure from the visitors. The goal underlined City’s control before the interval as Forest struggled to limit their attacking movement.
Nottingham Forest came out strongly after the restart and were level just nine minutes into the second half. O. Hutchinson finished confidently in the 54th minute to make it 1–1, sparking renewed belief among the home supporters.
The decisive moment arrived in the 83rd minute when Josko Gvardiol found the net to restore City’s lead. The visitors managed the closing stages well, with Cherki later named Player of the Match following an influential display that guided City to all three points.
