Liverpool Crowned Premier League Champions
Liverpool Football Club has been declared Premier League winners in overwhelming style, winning their 20th league title and tying Manchester United's record.
A 5-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on Sunday secured the championship.
Arne Slot's side has led from the front in the Dutchman's first season in England, losing only twice in 34 games to win the league and end Manchester City's four-year title reign.
The 46-year-old is the first Dutch manager to win the Premier League in his debut season, joining Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti, Manuel Pellegrini, and Antonio Conte.
Liverpool also won their first title in five years, with City falling behind this season, while Arsenal failed to keep up due to injury and will finish second for the third year in a row.
The recently crowned champions may yet top City's 91-point total from the previous season, putting them in elite company. Only 14 clubs have reached 90 points in the Premier League era, including Liverpool three times under Klopp.
