Liverpool Hijack Arsenal Move to Sign Will Wright from Salford City

Liverpool have reached a full agreement to sign 17-year-old striker Will Wright from Salford City, beating Arsenal to his signature.
Arsenal had agreed terms with Salford 10 days ago, but Liverpool made a late move and also secured an agreement with the player. Wright, considered a top prospect, completed his medical today and is set to sign a contract running until 2028.
The highly-rated forward is expected to join Liverpool’s academy setup, with the club viewing him as a key talent for the future.
