AFC Leopards players celebrating the win

AFC Leopards climbed to third place in the FKF Premier League table after a solid 2–0 win over Mathare United on Sunday afternoon, November 2, 2025. The result lifted Leopards to 12 points after six matches, just two points behind league leaders Kakamega Homeboyz.

Homeboyz remain top with 14 points from seven games, closely followed by defending champions Gor Mahia, who have 13 points from six outings. Posta Rangers and Bidco United complete the top five with 12 and 11 points respectively.

Mathare United, meanwhile, continue to struggle in mid-table, sitting 11th with seven points from seven matches. At the bottom of the standings, Kenya Police, Ulinzi Stars, and Bomet occupy the relegation zone with 5, 6, and 4 points respectively.

The league continues next weekend with key fixtures that could reshape the top four race as teams aim to close the early-season gap on leaders Homeboyz.
