KQ Flight Operations Disrupted By Bad Weather
Flight operations at Kenya Airways (KQ) have been disrupted by bad weather resulting in turn-backs/diversions, KQ announced in a statement.
Passengers intending to use the planes to travel will have to wait until Thursday 6th July.
According to the statement issued, KQ is working around the clock to restore the normal flight schedule.
The announcement further stated that the company grounded all its planes for unscheduled maintenance.
“We would like to advise our guests on expected flight schedule changes due to bad weather resulting in turn-backs/ diversion and three of our aircraft undergoing unscheduled technical maintenance,” the statement read.
Passengers who were affected will be sent updates via direct messages or emails.
KQ has been facing challenges leading to a huge loss that affects its operations.
