KCB RFC gear up against Quins Kenya Cup Fixture.

KCB RFC will be in action against fourth-placed Kenya Harlequin in a Kenya Cup duel this weekend at the KCB Sports Club, Ruaraka.

The bankers who are yet to lose a match this season have been on a good run winning their last eight matches.
Currently, the Curtis-Olago led outfit are sitting second on the table with 39 points, behind league leaders Kabras who have garnered 40 points so far.

“We have to be humble in our approach to Quins who have also been excellent this season. The boys have trained very well this week, and I am confident with the depth of our squad, we will win the match. I expect my players to give everything on the pitch,” reckoned KCB Head Coach Curtis Olago.

KCB recently battered Kisumu RFC 54-10 in matchday eight of the current Kenya Cup season and will be keen to extend their winning streak when they take on Quins in a crunch clash as we approach the playoffs scheduled for next month.

Coach Curtis and his technical bench will name the weekend’s squad tomorrow as big names Bob Muhati, Andy Cole Omollo, Wilhite Mususi, captain Griffin Musila and Festus Shiasi expected to keep their positions in the starting fifteen.

“We are lucky as a team to possess a plethora of talent within our squad. Based on the week’s training, we will pick the best team to face the Ngong-road side on Saturday,” added Olago.

KCB will then ply their trade against heavyweights Menengai Oilers and Kabras Sugar respectively in their next two Kenya Cup matches.
