Sacked Juventus coach Igor Tudor
Juventus have parted ways with head coach Igor Tudor after a 1–0 loss to Lazio on Sunday, marking the end of an eight-match winless streak across all competitions. The defeat left the team struggling in Serie A and the Champions League, prompting swift action from the club’s management.
Tudor, who took over from Thiago Motta in March 2025, initially showed promise but recent results raised concerns. Juventus have collected just five points from their last five matches, including losses to Como, Real Madrid, and Lazio. The club currently sits eighth in Serie A, six points behind league leaders Napoli, and has managed only one point from three Champions League games.
In the interim, reserve team coach Massimiliano Brambilla has been appointed to lead the team in upcoming fixtures, starting with the Serie A clash against Udinese on Wednesday.
Juventus are already exploring options for a permanent replacement. Reports suggest that former Italy coach Luciano Spalletti, former Juventus manager Roberto Mancini, and even former coach Thiago Motta are among the candidates under consideration.
The club issued a brief statement confirming Tudor’s departure, emphasizing the need to “reset and refocus” ahead of a critical phase in the season.
Fans and analysts alike will be watching closely to see who takes charge as Juventus aim to return to the top of Italian football
