Gor Mahia moved up to second place in the FKF Premier League standings after securing a 2–0 away win against Mathare United on Thursday afternoon.
Goals from S. Musa in the 47th minute and Bryson Wangai deep into stoppage time sealed the three points for K’Ogalo, who now have 12 points from five matches with a +7 goal difference.
Kakamega Homeboyz remain top with 13 points from six games, while Posta Rangers and Bidco United complete the top four with 11 and 10 points respectively.
Mathare United, on the other hand, sit eighth on the table with seven points from six matches after the defeat.
At the bottom, Bomet remain a one match win, while Murang’a Seal and Kenya Police continue to struggle near the relegation zone.
