The four-ball team of Serah Githaiga, Rose Wamuyu, Patrick Mwaniki, and Patrick Matheri emerged victorious at the 19th leg of the KCB East Africa Golf Tour, held at Nyeri Club on Saturday.

The group posted a combined score of 151 points, narrowly edging out the team led by Lady Captain Perister Gaitho, alongside David Maina, Daisy Mumbi, and Newton Wambugu, who finished second with 150 points. The tournament drew a strong field of 148 golfers.

Speaking after the awards ceremony, Githaiga expressed her delight, crediting teamwork for their success, "We had a tremendous four-ball. We pushed each other to perform, and it paid off. Now, we shift our focus to the grand finale on December 5, 2025, where we aim to proudly represent Nyeri Club."

Individual performances also stood out. Handicap 28 golfer Daisy Mumbi dazzled with 41 stableford points to claim the overall winner’s trophy, while Felix Kibicho (handicap 6) settled for runner-up with 39 points.

Patrick Mwaniki (Men’s Division 3 Runner-Up – 45 points)
Margaret Mweru (Ladies Division 1 Winner – 41 points)

Beyond the tournament, KCB reinforced its commitment to golf's growth. On Sunday, the bank hosted a junior golf clinic at Nyeri Club, giving young golfers hands-on training.

Additionally, a caddie tournament is set for Monday, expected to draw over 100 participants, underscoring KCB’s focus on inclusivity and talent development.
The tour now heads to the Kitale Golf Course on September 20, 2025, with anticipation building for another exciting contest.
