Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw by Fulham in a tense Premier League clash at Craven Cottage on Saturday evening. Despite dominating large spells, United failed to capitalize on their chances, allowing the hosts to fight back in the second half.

United opened the scoring in the 58th minute through Rodrigo Muniz, who latched onto a well-worked move to put the visitors ahead. The Red Devils looked in control but were pegged back just 15 minutes later when Emile Smith Rowe, making an impact off the bench, equalized for Fulham in the 73rd minute.

The match had its share of drama, with Casemiro booked for simulation in the first half and Mason Mount missing a penalty opportunity in the 35th minute that could have given United an early advantage. Fulham, on the other hand, rode on the momentum of their equalizer and pushed hard in the closing minutes, but both sides ultimately settled for a point.

Matthijs de Ligt was named Player of the Match for his commanding display at the back for Manchester United. The result leaves both teams reflecting on missed opportunities, with United frustrated at failing to close the game out and Fulham relieved to secure a point against a top opponent.
