The Premier League has officially revealed the nominees for the October 2025 Player of the Month award, highlighting some of the most outstanding individual performances over the past four weeks.
Aston Villa’s Matty Cash earns a spot on the shortlist after helping his side maintain their strong form, scoring a crucial winner against Manchester City. Bruno Guimarães of Newcastle United also features, having netted twice in October — including a dramatic late winner that showcased his influence in midfield.
Manchester City’s prolific striker Erling Haaland continues to make headlines, registering three goals in as many games to keep his side in the title race. Rising Bournemouth star Junior Kroupi joins the list after scoring three goals in two appearances, marking a breakout month for the young forward.
Bryan Mbeumo of Manchester United impressed with three goals and an assist, contributing directly to more goals than any other nominee in October. Sunderland’s Nordi Mukiele is also recognised for his solid defensive displays and crucial goal in his side’s strong run of form.
Rounding out the nominees are Igor Thiago of Brentford, who maintained his scoring touch with two goals, and Arsenal’s Jurrien Timber, whose leadership in defence helped the Gunners go unbeaten through the month with three clean sheets.
