Chelsea back to three points with Palmer and Malo Gusto

Chelsea secured a comfortable 2–0 Premier League victory over Everton at Stamford Bridge, continuing their strong home form. The Blues took control early and maintained their dominance throughout the contest.

Cole Palmer opened the scoring in the 21st minute, finishing a well-worked move to give Chelsea a deserved first-half lead. Everton struggled to respond as Chelsea dictated possession and tempo for long spells.

Malo Gusto doubled the advantage just before the break in the 45th minute, capitalising on sustained pressure to put Chelsea firmly in control heading into half-time. The second goal effectively killed off Everton’s hopes of a comeback.

In the second half, Chelsea managed the game professionally, limiting Everton to few clear chances while remaining dangerous on the break. Substitutions on both sides failed to alter the scoreline.

Gusto capped off an outstanding performance by being named Player of the Match, earning the highest rating on the night. The win boosts Chelsea’s league momentum, while Everton are left to reflect on another difficult away outing.
