CHAMPION'S LEAGUE: Mbappe strike late to give PSG win, City destroy Lisbon.

Kylian Mbappe danced between defenders to slot home a late winner as Paris St Germaine got a deserved win against Real Madrid, in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie.

The French forward scored at the 94th minute, despite PSG dominating the game and having a series of opportunities, including Messi’s saved penalty by Real Madrid Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

Real Madrid had little to show as Ancelotti’s men struggled in possession and will be hoping to capitalize when they play the second leg in their home turf.

Elsewhere, Manchester City run riot against Sporting Lisbon, winning 5-0 in what was a convincing performance from the English Club.

The result has all but sealed Manchester City’s place in the Quarter-finals, after handing Sporting Lisbon the biggest home defeat in European competition.

Manager Pep Guardiola was impressed by his team’s outstanding performance but insisted they still have a long way to go if they are to win their first Champions League trophy.
