Casey Jarvis drains a massive eagle putt on the 18th green to secure the 2026 Magical Kenya Open title.

On a bright Sunday at Karen Country Club in Nairobi, 22‑year‑old South African Casey Jarvis captured the 2026 Magical Kenya Open title, marking his first career victory on the DP World Tour. Jarvis finished 25‑under‑par over four rounds, including a stunning final-round 8‑under‑62, to win by three strokes.

Jarvis led wire‑to‑wire, sharing or holding the lead after each of the first three rounds. His performance combined consistent ball-striking with confident putting, gradually building a lead that would prove decisive on the final day.

The Sunday round was dramatic, with Jarvis opening with three birdies followed by a bogey. American Davis Bryant challenged him strongly, keeping the contest close and forcing Jarvis to maintain focus under pressure.

Weather delays briefly interrupted play, but Jarvis remained composed. Key moments included a birdie on the 17th and an eagle on the 18th, which sealed his victory and thrilled the crowd.

His final-round 8‑under‑62 showcased both skill and mental toughness, particularly under the pressure of closing in front of family and spectators.

Jarvis earned a winner’s share of about $459,000 (~Sh60 million) from a total tournament purse of around $2.7 million. The runner-up, Davis Bryant, finished on 22‑under‑par, while fellow South African Hennie du Plessis was third at 21‑under‑par.

Off the course, the victory held personal significance, with Jarvis celebrating in front of his father, who was present to witness the milestone moment.

The 2026 Magical Kenya Open will be remembered for its thrilling finish, international competition, and the emergence of a young star in Casey Jarvis, whose performance hints at a promising future on the global golf stage.

Jarvis’s win adds a significant milestone to his career and reinforces the Magical Kenya Open’s reputation as a key event for rising talent on the DP World Tour.
