Carrefour Shopping Bag Scares Meru Residents
Residents of the Kiangua area in Imenti South, Meru County were on Thursday morning sent into a panic after they allegedly discovered a lion hiding in the hedges.
The residents immediately reported the matter to the area chief who further reached for the Kenya Wildlife Services to come to their rescue.
The KWS officers on arriving discovered that it was a Carrefour supermarket shopping bag with its signature lion face branding.
The shopping bag was filled with avocado seedlings which made its shape appear like a lion’s head peeping from under the bush.
The post which was published by a Facebook user has attracted a mixture of reactions on social media by Kenyans some laughing at the incident.
