Carragher: Salah Should Not Start All Liverpool Away Games

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has suggested that Mohamed Salah should not automatically start in all of Liverpool’s upcoming away matches, citing the need for balance and defensive contribution.
“Liverpool have got two away games – in the Champions League at Frankfurt and then they go to Brentford. I don't think Mo Salah should start both of those games,” Carragher said.
He emphasized Salah’s value at Anfield but questioned his role in away fixtures. “He should always start at Anfield because Liverpool will be on top, around the edge of the box and more often than not he scores in those situations today. But I do think in the away games and helping your full-back, I don't think Salah should be starting every game right now, certainly away from home, with the form he's in.”
Carragher’s comments come amid a challenging spell for Salah, who has gone seven games without a non-penalty goal. Despite this, the forward remains central to Liverpool’s plans, and the club’s management will need to weigh Carragher’s suggestions against Salah’s overall contributions this season.
