Carlo Ancelotti Set to Extend Brazil Coaching Tenure Until 2030

Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly close to signing a four-year contract extension with the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), which would keep him as head coach of the Brazil national team through the 2030 World Cup cycle.
Ancelotti assumed the role of Brazil head coach in May 2025, leaving his position at Real Madrid. Since then, he has led the team through World Cup qualifying and preparations for the 2026 tournament.
Media reports indicate that a verbal agreement has already been reached between Ancelotti and the CBF, with only formal paperwork remaining before the contract is officially signed.
The proposed extension is intended to provide continuity and stability for the national team, allowing Ancelotti to manage a full World Cup cycle and implement long-term strategies.
