Real Madrid emerge as the most valuable squad in the world closely followed by Arsenal

Real Madrid have emerged as the most valuable football squad in the world following the latest market value updates released by Transfermarkt. The Spanish giants top the global rankings with a squad valuation of €1.38 billion, underlining their dominance both on and off the pitch.

The valuation reflects the collective market worth of Real Madrid’s current players, driven by a blend of elite talent, youth potential and recent on-field success. Key stars and emerging prospects have seen their values rise significantly, pushing Los Blancos ahead of all rivals.

Arsenal rank second on the list with a squad value of €1.29 billion, highlighting the Premier League side’s rapid growth under their current project. Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are joint third, each valued at €1.19 billion, continuing their presence among Europe’s financial heavyweights.

Chelsea follow closely in fifth place with a squad valuation of €1.18 billion, while Barcelona sit sixth at €1.12 billion. Liverpool complete the top seven with €1.04 billion, maintaining their status among the world’s most valuable squads despite recent fluctuations.

German champions Bayern Munich place eighth with a squad worth €981 million, ahead of Tottenham Hotspur (€879m) and Manchester United (€719m). Newcastle United (€713m) and Inter Milan (€670m) also feature in the top 12, reflecting the growing financial muscle across Europe’s top leagues.

Nottingham Forest’s inclusion in 13th place with €620 million stands out as a notable surprise, while Atlético Madrid (€589m) and Juventus (€552m) round off the top 15. The rankings highlight how squad value is influenced by age profiles, contract length and recent performances.

It is important to distinguish that these figures represent squad market value, not total club valuation. In separate assessments by Forbes, Real Madrid are also ranked as the most valuable football club globally overall, when factors such as revenue, brand value, stadium assets and commercial income are taken into account.
