Bidco through to Elite Pre-season Tournament
Bidco United have booked their place into the semi-final of the Elite Pre-Season tournament after a well-worked 2-0 victory over Sofapaka FC.
The victory in the 2pm kick off at the Kasarani Annex moved Bidco to six points and top of Group A, courtesy of goals from Samwel Ndung’u and Ezekiel Okare.
Samwel Ndung’u broke the deadlock for the Thika-based side after just three minutes, with the former the former AFC Leopards and Police FC winger striking a thunderous shot from inside the box.
Bidco United continued their dominance in the second half with Substitute Ezekiel Okare capitalizing on sloppy defending to add the second for Bidco.
Sofapaka could have equalized and had a brilliant chance three minutes on the turn when Baron Oketch went through on goal, but his low shot was well saved by the trailing leg of keeper Edwin Mukolwe.
Sofapaka had their moments in the second half, but were never composed in front of goal.
