Autopsy Reveals Death of Chogoria Students
Preliminary findings have revealed, the three Chogoria girls students who perished in a road accident on Saturday died from severe head and chest injuries conveyed by the impact of the accident.
According to a postmortem report released yesterday, two of them suffered severe head injuries which caused internal bleeding into the brain, whereas the third student had multiple injuries on the head, chest, and liver.
Speaking at General Kago funeral home where the postmortem was being carried out, Peter Kamau, uncle to Karen Wangu, said they have started burial plans set for Thursday this week in Githunguri, Kiambu County.
Eston Kibandi, a relative to Joy Bernice, who also perished in the accident, said they will lay to rest their daughter on Thursday in Kiganjo village Gatundu south. The postmortem of the driver is yet to be done.
Kibandi has also called on the government to help them in footing bills for the burial preparations.
He similarly urged the NTSA to apprehend all rogue drivers to avoid more road accidents.
