Aston Villa mounted an impressive comeback to defeat Chelsea 2-1 in a Premier League encounter, recovering from a first-half setback to claim a valuable away victory.
Chelsea took the lead in the 37th minute when João Pedro found the net, giving the hosts a 1-0 advantage at the break after a largely controlled opening period.
The visitors responded strongly after halftime, with Ollie Watkins equalising in the 63rd minute to shift momentum in Villa’s favour. Watkins struck again in the 84th minute, completing the turnaround with a clinical finish.
