Arsenal tie Gabriel Maghalaes to a long term deal ending 2029

Arsenal centre back and Brazil national team player Gabriel dos Santos Maghalaes has signed a long deal at Arsenal FC commiting his future to the club on a further four year deal that will run untill 2029 with an option for a further year.
The Brazilian has helped Arsenal in defence as well as set pieces being the most scoring centre back in the EPL over the last two years.
In an interview after signing the long term deal Maghalaes never hesitated to speak about his lobe for Arsenal.
Gabriel on why he signed a new long-term contract at Arsenal: “It’s an amazing club and I’m so proud to sign a new contract.
“I love this club, I love the fans, my teammates, I love this stadium - I’m so proud and thank you for all the support.I’m so proud of myself, and as well, to have worn the captain’s armband sometimes in this club.
He also expressed his admiration to win some major trophies at Arsenal;
“I hope I win some trophies with this club, because I love this club, my family loves it.
“We’ve done a lot of good things, and now it’s time to win some trophies. I want to say thank you for everything. I love the fans, and I love how they push the team. I think they are so incredible to keep pushing us every single game. We continue together for the future.”
While it is believed the new sporting director at Arsenal Andre Berta is the Man behind his renewal, Gabriel Maghalaes partnership with France international William Saliba has been of good result and helping one another become better.
