Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table with a 1–0 win over Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening. The Gunners went into the game already leading the standings and maintained their fine start to the 2025/26 season with another solid display.
Eberechi Eze scored the only goal of the match in the 39th minute, securing the crucial points for Mikel Arteta’s side. Despite Palace’s efforts to find an equaliser, Arsenal’s defence held firm to record yet another clean sheet at home.
The victory takes Arsenal to 22 points from nine matches, four clear of Bournemouth, who sit second with 18 points. Sunderland remain third on 17 points, while Manchester City and Manchester United complete the top five.
Crystal Palace stay in tenth place with 13 points, having shown competitive form despite the defeat. Arsenal now look firmly in control of the title race as they continue their impressive run at the summit of the Premier League.
