Liverpool striker Alexander Isak is set to undergo medical scans to establish the severity of the injury he picked up during the Premier League encounter against Tottenham Hotspur. Initial reports suggest the issue is more likely linked to his lower leg, around the ankle area, rather than a knee problem, although full medical confirmation is still awaited.
The Swedish forward came on at halftime and made an instant impact by scoring Liverpool’s opening goal. However, his involvement was short-lived after he was caught in an awkward challenge involving Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven, leaving him in clear discomfort.
