West Ham United are close to completing the signing of Spanish winger Adama Traoré from Fulham after the two clubs reached an agreement in principle.
The transfer has gathered pace in recent days, with negotiations progressing smoothly as both sides work to finalise the remaining details.
Traoré is understood to have prioritised a move to West Ham since December, attracted by the club’s project and the promise of a more prominent role.
The 29-year-old is valued for his pace, physical strength, and direct attacking style, qualities West Ham believe will add depth and urgency to their forward line.
Limited playing time at Fulham this season played a key role in the decision to pursue a January exit.
West Ham manager Nuno Espírito Santo, who previously worked with Traoré at Wolves, is said to be supportive of the move.
The transfer is linked to expected squad changes at the London Stadium, with midfielder Guido Rodríguez set to leave for Valencia.
Rodríguez’s departure is expected to free up space and resources, easing the path for Traoré’s arrival.
