Arsenal cruised to a 3–0 win over Nottingham Forest at the Emirates on September 13, extending their strong start to the season.
Martín Zubimendi was the hero of the afternoon, netting twice in the 32nd and 79th minutes to secure his side’s dominance. Viktor Gyökeres added the second goal just after halftime, finishing off a clever move initiated by Eberechi Eze.
Despite Forest making several changes, including introducing A. Kalimuendo and D. Bakwa, they failed to trouble the Gunners’ defence. Arsenal’s midfield controlled the game, and Zubimendi’s commanding display earned him the Player of the Match award.
