Xhaka nears premier league return as he eyes a switch Sunderland

Former Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka is pushing for a move to Sunderland, with reports indicating that the 32-year-old defensive midfielder has reached personal terms with the Championship side.
Xhaka, currently at Bayer Leverkusen, has communicated his desire to join Sunderland and is reportedly urging the German champions to finalize the transfer as soon as possible. Talks between the two clubs are still ongoing, with negotiations yet to be concluded.
