Xavi Simons Completes Medical Ahead Of €60m Tottenham Move
Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of completing the signing of Dutch midfielder Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig in a deal worth €60 million.
According to reports, Simons has already undergone and successfully completed his medical tests in London. Spurs and Leipzig have reached a full agreement on the transfer fee, while personal terms with the 21-year-old have also been finalised.
The highly rated playmaker will become one of Tottenham’s marquee signings of the summer window, pending the completion of final paperwork and formalities.
Simons, who impressed in the Bundesliga last season, is expected to add significant creativity and attacking depth to Ange Postecoglou’s side as Spurs aim to compete at the top end of the Premier League and in Europe.
