Viktor Gyokeres plans to boycott sporting Lisbon preseason tour to push a move to the Gunner's
Viktor Gyökeres has just informed Sporting Lisbon president about his decision to leave, as the player see no intention to continue at the club anymore.
According to transfer news guru Fabrizio Romano,Gyökeres wants new chapter, he feels heartbroken after exit pact as he is not feeling well being denied chance to leave.
In the process, Gyokeres will not return to preseason schedule for Lisbon as his agents have already linked up with arsenal board to push through his transfer to the EPL.
It is now clear Arteta is an admirer of the Sweden national team striker despite other links for RB Leipzig's Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko.
Sesko transfer clause of €80 M looks to have put off Arsenal as they look for a goal poacher with only 52 remaining till the start of the next season campaign that starts on 16th August 2025.
Arsenal have always initiated talks to agree personal terms with Gyokeres which seems to be in place and arsenal have no problem in meeting his salary demands and his personal admiration to play at Arsenal has made it possible to remain in talks with Gyökeres camp.
He had also ejected a move to Manchester United the start of this month as he gives a greenlight to arsenal as his priority destination
