The 22-year-old Stanley Waithaka Mburu beat the odds after clinching the silver medal in the men’s 10,000m final at the World Athletics Championships despite a fall in the first lap.
Mburu etched his name in the books of the Championships history despite taking an early tumble to add to the bronze medal he won at the U-18 Championships in 2017.
