TRANSFERS: Newcastle Push for Hugo Ekitike in €100M Move

Newcastle United are making a major push to sign French striker Hugo Ekitike, with reports from SPORT BILD claiming the club is working to complete a deal worth €100 million as quickly as possible.
The 22-year-old forward, currently at Eintracht Frankfurt, has attracted significant attention in recent months. However, the report suggests it’s now a one-horse race, with Ekitike said to be fully focused on a move to St. James' Park — making it “Newcastle or no one.”
Ekitike joined Frankfurt permanently from PSG earlier this summer after a successful loan spell. He has shown strong development and goal-scoring promise, prompting Newcastle to make him a top target as they look to bolster their attack ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The Magpies are reportedly confident of getting the deal over the line swiftly, with personal terms and contract structure believed to be under discussion.
