After an illustrious 17-year journey filled with passion, trophies, and unforgettable memories, Lucas Vázquez is officially leaving Real Madrid. The Spanish winger, who rose through the club's ranks and became a vital part of one of the most successful eras in its history, departs with 23 trophies to his name.
In an emotional statement, Vázquez said:
"I'm leaving Real Madrid, but Real Madrid will never leave me. Wherever I go, I’ll say with pride that I had the honor of playing for the best team in the world. Thank you for joining me on the most beautiful journey of my life."
Real Madrid have announced a special farewell ceremony in his honor, scheduled for 13:00 tomorrow that is, 17th August 2025 where fans, teammates, and club officials will celebrate the legacy of a true Madridista.
