Brentford are weighing up a move for Ipswich Town winger Omari Hutchinson as they brace for the likely departure of Bryan Mbeumo. The Bees are preparing for life without their star forward, who is edging closer to a big-money switch to Manchester United.

Reports suggest Mbeumo has already agreed personal terms with United, but the two clubs are still finalising the transfer fee, expected to be in the region of £60–65 million. The deal could be completed soon, paving the way for Brentford to act quickly in securing a replacement.

Hutchinson has emerged as a top target. The 21-year-old impressed with Ipswich last season and is now valued at around £40 million. Brentford view him as a dynamic and creative wide option who could seamlessly slot into their attacking setup.

While Brentford have yet to launch a formal bid, they remain strongly interested. Hutchinson, who has attracted attention from other Premier League clubs including Everton and West Ham, could be tempted by a move if Mbeumo’s transfer is sealed in the coming days.
