Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal to sign West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes in a transfer worth around £85 million, according to multiple reports from UK sports outlets including Sky Sports and The Athletic.
The agreement follows intense competition for the 21-year-old Portugal international, with Manchester United among the clubs linked before Spurs moved ahead with a decisive bid structure that secured West Ham’s approval.
