Tanzania moved to the top of Group B after edging Madagascar 2-1 at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam. The Taifa Stars impressed in front of their home crowd, securing the vital three points to strengthen their qualification hopes.
The victory puts Tanzania in a commanding position ahead of their next fixture against the Central African Republic, where they will be aiming to extend their lead and maintain momentum
