Ruto Allied MPs Now Want Ndung’u Land Report Made Public
A section of legislators from the Coast Region who are allied to Deputy President William Ruto now want Ndung’u Land Report made public.
The MPs said implementation of the report’s recommendations will solve the land issues that have been here in Kenya for many years.
The MPs said that if Government was committed to solving the country’s historical injustices, Kenya’s land issue was a top priority.
They spoke on Sunday at the Burhani Grounds in Mvita Constituency where DP engaged Mombasa County, community leaders.
Those who spoke about land include Khatib Mwashetani (Lunga Lunga), Aisha Jumwa (Malindi), Mohamed Ali (Nyali), Juma Wario (Tana River) and former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar.
The outspoken legislator Jumwa argued that Kenyans are now tired of political conmanship. Ms. Jumwa said ODM Leader Raila Odinga betrayed the region, especially after the handshake. She said the ODM leader was frustrated with every plan made to change the lives of the people of the Coast.
