Renato Veiga will leave on a permanent deal, and it’s now officially over with Chelsea.
Atlético Madrid have stepped in — they’ve made direct contact with Veiga’s camp, and the player is keen on the move to La Liga.
Chelsea are holding firm, demanding a package worth at least €40 million to let the versatile midfielder go. Meanwhile, Atlético are preparing to advance talks and could submit a formal offer soon.
Negotiations are expected to accelerate in the coming days.
