Newcastle United Reach Agreement To Sign Yoane Wissa
Newcastle United have struck a deal with Brentford for the signing of forward Yoane Wissa in a package worth up to £55 million. The agreement includes an initial payment now, with the balance to be settled next year.
While club sources at Newcastle maintain the guaranteed fee is closer to £50 million, the deal is structured with add-ons that push the figure to £55 million. A 25 per cent sell-on clause has also been inserted as part of the agreement.
The 28-year-old is set to undergo his medical on Tyneside ahead of Monday’s 7pm UK transfer deadline, with Newcastle confident of finalising the move in time.
