Manchester united have moved quickly in the acquisition of the Wolverhampton Wanderers star who has impressed with the club in the English premier league this season.
According to reports from Europe Matheus Santos Carneiro Da Cunha will sign for Manchester united as soon as the season transfer window opens on 1st June.
Manchester United have a verbal agreement to sign Matheus Cunha from Wolves for £62.5m in a five year deal contract untill 2030 with an option for another one year.
Cunha said yes to Manchester united request to sign him despite the club defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Europa league finals meaning the Reds will not play in Europe competitions a part from England football.
Paperwork being finalized this week, then Medicals to Officially confirm Cunha as a new Devil in Town.
Cunha has 15 goals for wolves this season and gas contributed severally to other goals at the club , which attracted the interest of Manchester united coach Ruben Amorim.
Throughout his career he started his career in Germany at Hertha Berlin and then transferred to Atletico Madrid for €30M, then moved to Wolves on loan in 2022, on 29th June 2023 he returned to Atletico Madrid before wolves deciding to sign him on a permanent deal worth €50M on 30 June 2023.
