Arsenal’s sporting director Andrea Berta has reportedly given Gabriel Martinelli the chance to prove himself with an X-factor performance before the January transfer window. Failure to impress could see the Brazilian winger sold in the winter market.
The Gunners are already considering potential reinforcements on the left wing, with Bournemouth’s Antonio Semenyo and AC Milan star Rafael Leão among the names on their shortlist. However, it remains uncertain whether Bournemouth would be willing to part ways with Semenyo midway through the season.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are said to have cooled interest in a permanent deal for Real Madrid’s Rodrygo but remain open to exploring a loan move should the player become available in January.
With competition intensifying and Berta demanding results, Martinelli’s next few months are set to be crucial in determining his future at the Emirates.
